Sunday 2 December 2018, 05:45hrs, O Coqueiro, Porvorim, Goa

We start from Porvorim in Goa at 05:50hrs and drive by bus to Bhogave village in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. Then we take a boat to Tsunami island… This island is in the middle of the Karli River and gets submerged at high tide. If you’re lucky you’ll witness this amazing scene, watching the island vanish under your feet while you are still on it. You can have a Malwani breakfast here at your own cost if you like.
A tutorial kayaking session by Ashwin Tombat will be conducted on the spot before you take to the open sea. Ashwin has been leading Kayaking programs for over 10 years.
Then go out in a boat to the mouth of the river. Get into your kayaks. Do three nautical miles of open sea kayaking from Bhogave to Neuti Beach. You will be accompanied by the boat, captained by Kim Sabir. Kim has been a blue water yachtsman since the age of 20 and is knowledgeable with safety at sea.
The kayaking is in the serene waters along the cliffs and the deserted stretch of the pristine Bhogave beach, around the Neuti fort and into the Bay at Neuti. Make a beach landing!
