A 90m-long wave-cut sea cave concealed in the rocky outcrops of Canacona at the extreme southern tip of Goa is the only one of its kind in the state and perhaps the west coast of India.
The geological wonder — naturally formed due to intense wave action on meta basalt rocks over thousands of years — has remained almost undiscovered by tourists.
A short trek and a scramble over boulders along the sea will take you to this hidden natural formation. From here climb up the hill, take a short trek across the plateau and a steep descent down to a wild, wild beach. Tolivia Beach. Deserted. Virgin. Nothing and no one there.
