From: ₹2,990.00 for 14 hours
Kayak out to two secluded beaches — where no tourist goes — in the quiet, calm waters on a Goa morning. Collect shells. Swim in clear, sheltered sea waters.
Happens every morning from October to May, 2 hours duration.
Start from Porvorim in Goa at 05:45hrs. Drive by bus to Bhogave village in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. Take a boat to Tsunami island… It’s in the middle of the Karli River and gets submerged at high tide. If you’re lucky, you’ll witness the island vanish under your feet as the water rises. You have a Malwani breakfast here.
After a tutorial kayaking session by Ashwin Tombat, go out in a boat to the mouth of the river. Get into your kayaks. Do three nautical miles of open sea kayaking from Bhogave to Neuti Beach. You are accompanied by the boat, captained by Kim Sabir. Make a beach landing!
Splash in the clear waters, chill and indulge in a sumptuous Malwani lunch…
After this short break we trek 4.5km along the cliffs to Kochra, have a cup of tea or a soft drink, get into the buses and return to Goa.
Time 5.45 am to 7.30 pm
For 18 kayakers (if there are fewer kayakers, you need to pay an extra transport supplement to support the hire of the 20-seater bus)
Available 1 October 2018 to 31 March 2019
