Start from Porvorim in Goa at 05:45hrs. Drive by bus to Bhogave village in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. Take a boat to Tsunami island… It’s in the middle of the Karli River and gets submerged at high tide. If you’re lucky, you’ll witness the island vanish under your feet as the water rises. You have a Malwani breakfast here.

After a tutorial kayaking session by Ashwin Tombat, go out in a boat to the mouth of the river. Get into your kayaks. Do 3.5 nautical miles of open sea kayaking from Bhogave to Neuti Beach. You are accompanied by a safety boat. Make a beach landing

Splash in the clear waters. If you wish do take an adventurous leap into the sea from a 5m high cliff. Wash off the salt with a bath at the village well. Explore the ruins of a sea fort overlooking the Vengurla Rocks. Then chill and indulge in a 12-course Malwani lunch in a village house…

After this short break, trek 4.5km along the sea cliffs to Kochra and return to Goa.
